Trainer/Auditor - Revenue Cycle Billing

Summary:
Performs scheduled audits of billing activities and provides appropriate feedback to management team for quality improvement or department trends. Verifies quality, consistency, and accuracy while ensuring all internal policies are being met along with any regulatory requirements, accrediting standards or contractual agreements. Provides training specific to employees that utilize any of the Revenue Cycle billing applications including, but not limited to Soarian Financials, Soarian EDM (Electronic Data Management), Codescan/AccelaCapture, SoftAR, FileBound, Quadax –Xpeditor and Quadax - HARP. Assists in billing as needed.

Formal Education Required:
a. Two (2) years college level course work in business, education or medically related discipline or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Experience and Training Required:
a. Four (4) years experience of hospital billing.
b. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

h. Knowledge of current revenue cycle system applications.
