Job Summary
The Traffic Office Coordinator is responsible for inputting, tracking, and monitoring various items and systems as they relate to the overall Traffic Office operations function to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
Essential Job Duties
1. Processes daily work and ensures consistent workflow.
2. Monitors Traffic Exception report; Sorts and routes all outbound orders.
3. Processes all standard orders; Processes a portion of customer-routed orders.
4. Bill of Lading (BOL) generation for outbound shipments.
5. Updates Carrier, ETD and BOL information into Syspro and Datascope.
Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Any other duties as assigned.
Expected Hours of Work
- Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with some overtime expected).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Some college strongly preferred;
- One or more years of experience in customer service or administrative support required; One or more years of experience with inventory, logistics, and procurement required;
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required;
- Strong computer and organizational skills; ERP Systems experience strongly preferred;
- Ability to multi-task and evaluate processes and systems for improvement;
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
