Marketing Director

Award winning Summerfield Senior Living offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care options at our Hammond community. We are looking for a knowledgeable marketing professional who will be responsible for leasing and business development activities for our Hammond community. The candidate will be expected to work leads provided by the community in addition to obtaining leads from referral sources. Community outreach is another critical role of the position so the candidate shall be expected to attend community events in an effort to maintain exposure and visibility for Summerfield. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leasing, with a passion for helping seniors, and have the ability to educate potential residents and their families on what our community offers and how we can assist them in the care of their loved one. Summerfield Senior Living is an established community and brand with a proven track record of success so the new marketing director will be expected to continue and expand upon what has already been created with the goal of reaching and maintaining 100% occupancy. Self-motivation is key as the job comes with a competitive base salary plus SIGNIFICANT BONUS INCENTIVE STRUCTURE.

Responsibilities

• Source and work new and existing leasing leads.
• Effectively close on sales opportunities.
• Oversee and execute all new resident on-boarding paperwork.
• Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of our community and the role of assisted living communities
• Utilize resources using marketing programs to track and provide continued follow up on all leads and potential residents
• Ensure all leads and subsequent contacts are entered, maintained, and kept up to date utilizing customer relationship management software.
• Network with other professionals and referral sources to facilitate referrals and a smooth transition for residents upon move in.
• Attend community events regularly.
• Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
• Monitor progress and submit performance reports
• Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements
• Must have the ability to make people feel comfortable when making life-changing decision, and prior experience working with the elderly population is a great advantage
• Work well among the other departments of the community.

• Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices

• Experience using the Point-Click-Care a plus
• Experience working in assisted living or elderly care industry is preferred but not a requirement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
