Job Description
Full Time event planner needed to take over a position within our company in a client facing planner role. No catering experience necessary though a knowledge of food service and a strong attention to detail is strongly preferred. Flexible schedule with some nights and weekends required. Will train the right candidate. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift at least 50lbs. Paid time off, 401k and health insurance offered.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Learning our catering cloud software to be able to book events, develop menus (will train) and make pertinent notes regarding the event.
Developing a rapport with clients and staff to ensure a seamless and successful event
Strong communication skills are a must. You should be clear and concise and not afraid to delegate duties to your team.
There will be some creativity involved with designing and staging events- you will have creative control of your events and menus as well as coordinating floral arrangements and custom personalized details
This role requires a strong verbal and written command of the English language as well as a knack for problem solving and flexibility during events.
