We understand that first impressions are important. That’s why we’re looking for a professional and experienced Convention Services Manager to oversee all aspects of our convention and meeting services.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in execution of successful events, as well as a keen eye for detail.
He or she will be responsible for managing a team of convention services staff, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the event are running smoothly.
The Convention Services Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison between the client and all hotel departments during the on-site execution.
Understand the client’s needs and objectives for their event, and work with them to develop a comprehensive plan that meets or exceeds their expectations.
Develop creative solutions to unique requests, problems, or challenges that may arise during the course of executing an event.
Serve as the point of contact for all hotel departments during the event, coordinating their efforts to ensure that all event needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor the event space throughout the duration of the event to ensure that it remains clean and presentable, and that all AV and other equipment is functioning properly.
Respond to any issues or concerns that may arise during the event, and take whatever steps are necessary to resolve them quickly and satisfactorily.
Conduct a post-event debrief with the client to review their satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.Job Type : Full-timePay : $45,000.
