Are you considering a career in Solar Sales? Summit Energy is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Outside Sales Consultant (Solar Guide) to generate leads and close the deal with clients. We are a fast-growing solar company looking to add talented Outside Sales Consultants to our team.
This is a long-term, full-time contractor (1099) position. In this position, you will be learning and training with former VPs of Sales and experienced consultants with 9 years of experience. Consultants are expected to be highly driven. Previous experience in sales not required. This unique opportunity provides the chance to learn directly from top performers in the solar industry to reach the highest end of the compensation estimates.

Pay: $125,000-$350,000 annually (100% Commission with unlimited earning potential)
Location(s): Assigned Territories, Direct to customer marketing/sales
Schedule: Flexible schedule, In-person meeting 2x a week in HQ office
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Qualify prospects within assigned sales territory and build a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals.
- Quickly move prospects through the sales process by delivering outstanding consultative, sales, and customer experience.
- Update sales and client databases with current information.
- Be informed on the latest industry developments by attending team meetings and hands-on training workshops.
- Negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
- Learn Marketing Skills to acquire potential customers
- Work Directly with Sales Leaders with 9 years of experience in the field
Requirements:
- Current, Active Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Computer literate and is familiar with CRM software.
- Strong negotiating, planning, and consultative sales skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
- Detail-oriented and has good time management skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
