Summit Fire & Security, a member of SummitCompanies is a premier firm in the Fire Protection and Fire Life Safetyindustry. We are currently seeking a Pre-Engineered Technician to join our team in our Reno, NV office.
Essential Functions:
Service, maintenance, repair and installation of pre-engineered fire suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lightsand additional fire protection / life safety equipment as skills develop. Previous experience in pre-engineered fire systems is a plus. However we are willing to train the right candidate!
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- mechanical skills including use of hand and power tools
- Physical ability to lift 75 pounds, work overhead and onladders, climb/maneuver
- Ability to accurately complete electronic forms/documents
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, nightsand weekends
- Ability to work independently, with a team and report tomanagement
- Flexibility to work rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to communicate professionally and technically withcustomers
- Ability to sell new account services to existing and newcustomers on route
- Ability to maintain quotas as set forth my management
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Existing knowledge or acquire knowledge related to industry fireand construction codes
- Ability to pass drug test
- Clean driving record
