Job Posting for Pre-Engineered Technician at Summit Fire & Security
Summit Fire & Security, a member of SummitCompanies is a premier firm in the Fire Protection and Fire Life Safetyindustry. We are currently seeking a Pre-Engineered Technician to join our team in our Reno, NV office.
Essential Functions:
Service, maintenance, repair and installation of pre-engineered fire suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lightsand additional fire protection / life safety equipment as skills develop. Previous experience in pre-engineered fire systems is a plus. However we arewilling to train the right candidate!
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
mechanical skills including use of hand and power tools
Physical ability to lift 75 pounds, work overhead and onladders, climb/maneuver
Ability to accurately complete electronic forms/documents
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to travel
Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, nightsand weekends
Ability to work independently, with a team and report tomanagement
Flexibility to work rotating on-call schedule
Ability to communicate professionally and technically withcustomers
Ability to sell new account services to existing and newcustomers on route
Ability to maintain quotas as set forth my management
Ability to meet deadlines.
Existing knowledge or acquire knowledge related to industry fireand construction codes
Ability to pass drug test
Clean driving record
