Summit and Vertical Transportation Inc., is hiring for the following position:
HR Manager - In this position you will provide support in the functional areas of the Human Resources department which include, recruitment, personnel records management, employee relations, and training.
Responsibilities
- Assist the President in daily / weekly duties
- Answer phones and schedule drivers
- Responsible for full-cycle recruitment process for various positions
- Manage the offer/pre-onboarding process including processing criminal background checks / Facilitate orientation for all new hires including I-9 verification, policy and benefit overviews
- Respond to general inquiries on HR policies and procedures of employees and escalate to management as needed
- Assist with resolving employee relations issues/concerns
- Report on recruitment metrics and productivity
- Maintain job descriptions
- Process employment verifications
- Maintain confidentiality regarding employee information, payroll, and other sensitive matters
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an HR related role
- QuickBooks and Microsoft Office proficiency preferred
- 1-2 years full-cycle recruitment experience preferred
- Employee relations experience preferred
- Ability to leverage multiple recruiting/advertising sources, including social media
- Must project and uphold the highest ethical standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently with attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,400.00 - $44,200.00 per year
