The Operations Supervisor provides active leadership to SummitStone locations as needed to ensure the successful operation of administrative and clinical service lines. In collaboration with management and staff, the Operations Supervisor will identify opportunities to standardize and streamline agency services and workflows, establishing standards and processes which ensure organizational resources are being utilized to optimal levels which are consistent with industry best practices. The Operations Supervisor provides leadership and development opportunities for operational and administrative staff members and serves as a resource and role model for all staff members. This position is responsible for day-to-day on-site operations including attending to the immediate needs of staff, resolving interpersonal conflict between administrative team members, and preparing and guiding team members during operational changes. This Supervisor position act as a backup support to Operational Managers and will complete cross-training necessary to do so. This Operations Supervisor will assist the Operational Manager to ensure that clinical service time is maximized across clinical and medical teams, and will identify areas of improvement that could help teams to work at the top of their scope.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of operational managers, support the day to day operations across assigned clinical and medical service lines.
- Collaborate with others in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating operational services, including cooperating effectively with clinical and medical leadership.
- Serve as a resource person to all staff; maintaining knowledge of administrative and operational policies, processes and procedures.
- Recommend policy and procedure changes when necessary for program improvement; coach staff through necessary changes or improvements.
- Evaluate staff performance for all direct reports and meet with staff for regular, individual supervision; address performance issues, resolve conduct and ethical issues; document and communicate disciplinary action when needed
- Assists the Operational Manager to gather data necessary for evaluating services, determining capacity, or measuring program outcomes.
- Develop and foster team values with staff; recognize and reward staff as appropriate, act as a role model, provide support, identify development opportunities, and remove barriers
- Provide technical assistance, training and coaching in administrative and operational areas. Assists with onboarding for new team members.
- Facilitate staff meetings and inter-agency meetings as required. Demonstrate superior customer service for internal and external customers by providing information and answering questions/requests in a timely manner.
- Complete necessary cross-training to act as a backup “Building Safety Officer” to Operational Managers. Effectively collaborate with the Facilities Department and Safety Coordinator to ensure facilities are meeting safety requirements.
- Delegate and oversees daily front desk/admin support operations and workflows. Monitor and adjust staffing needs for optimal efficiency (coverage and scheduling).
- Review, correct and submit timesheets for front line staff.
- Supervise operations and administrative line staff, including administrative support, scheduling staff, call center staff, or others as assigned.
- Participates on committees (both internal and external), in meetings, and works on projects.
- Provide training and onboarding for operations and administrative staff
- Train direct reports on crisis intervention protocols and ensure that best practice protocols are being followed in response to crisis incidents.

Experiences and Background We Look For
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent and post-secondary coursed equivalent to up to one year of college; 1 years of experience working directly in healthcare; Valid Colorado driver's license. Driving record that meets the hiring requirements as set forth for someone that may transport clients/customers.
- Preferred: Associates Degree (AA) in business or related field; 1 years of experience in an operational leadership role; Experience directly supervising staff; Experience working in a behavioral health setting, inpatient/bed-based care, and/or crisis; Experience in program development and managing projects.
Wage Ranges
Typical hiring range for a 40-hr. work week is $22.54 - $27.60 per hour, based on relevant qualifications and experience.
