Senior HR Systems Manager - U.S., Remote 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Systems Manager to join the Sumo People Team at an exhilarating time.  The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge specializing in HR systems, data and processes.  If you are passionate about building the best-in-class operational infrastructure and solving business problems through process, technology and data insight, this role is for you. This role reports to the Sr. Director, People Operations. 

You will partner across the People, Finance, IT and other teams to lead HR system projects, process design and configuration, development and maintenance of the data standards, and reporting and analytics.  This starts with our core HR system (Paylocity) and spans across the numerous internal and external tools that power our key HR processes and programs. 

Responsibilities

• Lead and set priorities in the HR technology roadmap
• Ensure data integrity and synchronization across all HR and downstream systems through data auditing.
• Managing ongoing and consistent data audit process to maintain data integrity
• Responsible for HR system integration to achieve operational efficiency and data accuracy
• Evaluate current HR systems and optimize functionalities to support business needs.
• Partner with key stakeholders to identify process pain points and opportunities to drive improvement through technology and data.
• Own the SOX requirement from a system, data, report and process standpoint.
• Produce HR metrics and dashboards to support business decisions with data insight.
• Responsible for HR system adoption and positive user experience by developing and delivering end-user documentation, training, and support.
• Establish system related governance controls and ensure compliance with data protection laws.
• Oversee system upgrades and system maintenance, as well as troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Point of contact for creating and distributing HR reports to meet users requirement; create operational processing to improve efficiency and user experience
• Lead future HCM implementations and upgrade to the existing system.
• Act as project manager and leader for all HR systems related projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 years experience managing HR systems, preferably SaaS-based.
• Advance Excel skill to perform data audit and analysis
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Documents, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
• Solid understanding of end-to-end employee life cycle processes and interactions with related systems.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements, specifically Sarbanes Oxley.
• Previous experience with Payroll and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Specific knowledge of Paylocity, Greenhouse and Adaptive platforms preferred.
• Experience in leading HCM implementation end to end.
• Demonstrated experience in programming systems for enhancements/upgrades.
• Advanced knowledge of HRIS/Human Resources and practices.
• Ability to analyze and interpret HR and related data.
• Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using expertise, creativity and sound judgment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow through.
