Logistics Manager

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Logistics Manager.

The Logistics Manager will create, implement and manage the global logistics strategy.  This is a highly collaborative role with significant interaction with Operations, Suppliers, IT, Procurement, Marketing, and Process Improvement.  This role will oversee all external logistics demand including: 1. Capital Purchases and Dispositions 2. Customer Pickups and Deliveries 3.Transferring of Assets to meet demand requirements.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field of study or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of building global logistics solutions and managing 3PLs in complex

supply chain environments

• 5 years of years of management experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Understanding of the freight marketplace
• Be able to translate VOC to operational gaps and drive process improvement
• Project management experience within a matrixed organization with full implementation experience

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
