Our Rental Technicians are qualified electricians with hands-on experience. They take on the responsibility of making sure our equipment is always fully operational and ready for any rental at any time.
This includes things like...
- Prepare rental equipment to suit customer project needs
- Inspection and quality assurance testing and reports of rental and sale equipment
- Preventative maintenance and minor repairs to rental equipment
- Shipping and receiving of rental and sale equipment.
- Maintaining a high level of presentation and organization in our yard, warehouse and common areas
- Some physical effort required such as: precise arm and hand movements, working at heights greater than ten feet, lifting arms above the shoulders, moving heavy objects (100lbs or more) and working in cramped spaces.
- Some work beyond regular hours required to attend to after-hours service calls to job sites and branch shop to meet deadlines and customers’ needs.
The rental equipment that the successful candidate will be working on will include Automatic and Manual Transfer Switches, Distribution Panels, Transformers (Dry, Padmount, and Substation Style), Cable, Motor Starters, Breakers, Splitters, and so much more. This equipment covers a wide range of voltages and amperage ratings.
- Minimum 3 years as a qualified working electrician.
- Commercial and industrial electrical construction, repairs, maintenance and commissioning to high and low voltage systems.
- Able to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids.
- Able to locate and correct defects in electrical systems and equipment.
