Responsibilities:
As a vital part of our team, you will:
Ensure equipment integrity and facilitate timely repairs, contributing to a reduction in unscheduled downtime.
Support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program, demonstrating a commitment to optimal machinery performance.
Analyze problems and interpret technical information to make required repairs, showcasing your troubleshooting skills.
Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery and facility support equipment.
Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and validate completed work.
Prioritize safety by adhering to company policies, safety rules, procedures, and industry standards.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and plant electrical/mechanical systems, developing sustainable solutions.
Complete assigned work orders promptly, maintaining accurate records using software, work orders, and detailed logs.
Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Identify required parts, manage inventories, and maintain parts reorder lists.
Ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
Must-Have: Industrial Maintenance background (motors, sprockets, gears, conveyors) & basic electrical knowledge (blueprints, 3 phase, Allen Bradley PLC).
Dislike: Short job tenure.
Ability to lift 50-80 lbs., perform repetitive motions, stand for extended periods, and use ladders and lifts with safety equipment.
Excellent communication skills across all departments.
Flexibility with shifts preferred.
