Description
Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for a Treasury Management Officer in Leawood, KS. The Treasury Management Officer position is primarily responsible for providing treasury product marketing, product sales demonstration, technical, and financial analysis to customers, prospects and internal relationship managers (Bankers). This position is also responsible for creating formal proposals and analyzing customer/prospects' request for proposals (RFPs) and determining appropriate strategy and approach to crafting a comprehensive response designed to successfully win new business.
- Provide an exceptional level of quality service for internal and external customers and respond to customers’ needs, questions and concerns in an accurate, effective and timely manner.
- Prepares pro-forma analyses of customers' product sales potential and preparation of pricing proposal.
- Review and analyze current and potential commercial relationships and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Participate in design of marketing and sales programs aimed at the commercial customers for treasury management related products.
- Develop various prospecting and sales-related materials and reporting to be used throughout the sales cycle.
- Prepare appropriate Contracts, Agreements and documentation relative to the Treasury Management products and services offered in accordance with Sunflower Bank, N.A. Policies and Procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members on the preparation and presentation of Commercial Banking Proposals and RFPs.
- Maintain industry knowledge of treasury management solutions and pricing to keep competitive.
Education / Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; Master’s, preferred.
- Minimum of seven years’ bank treasury management or other financial sales/consultant experience.
- Excellent relationship management skills - experience of managing relationships across a variety of internal cross-functional departments and senior leadership and externally with vendors and clients.
