Sunflower Medical group, is a primary care practice with five locations throughout the Kansas City area. The Kansas City Kansas office is located just west of the Legends shopping center. We have a full benefits package and a positive work environment.

We are looking for team members that are dependable, positive and interested in making a difference.*

Job Responsibilities

  • A minimum of 1 years collection experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Must have knowledge of healthcare billing and collections
  • Broad knowledge and experience with all commercial carriers including Medicare / Medicaid
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Assist patients face to face with billing questions
  • Respond to and resolve patient billing inquires via phone
  • Insurance payment posting

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of medical coding experience
  • Must have knowledge of healthcare billing and collections
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Broad knowledge and experience with all commercial carriers including Medicare / Medicaid
  • Strong organizational skills required

Job Type: Full-time
