GENERAL FUNCTION
The Supervisor- Asset Protection will support Asset Protection and Operational Programs, which safeguard the assets of the Company: merchandise, money, property and the welfare of our customers and associates in geographical area assigned. Will supervise Asset Protection Advisors to support the reduction of shrink/incidents by promoting Asset Protection Awareness, provide associate training, and participate in the investigating of situations known or suspected internal/external dishonesty.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the recruiting, interview and training of Asset Protection Advisors
- Supervision and performance evaluation of APA’s in conjunction with Store Leaders
- Manage APA roster, weekly scheduling, and budgeted hours in assigned area.
- Drive Shrink reduction programs/activities in assigned area
- Manage the delivery and execution of AP training programs
- Assists local RMAP/RMI with internal and external investigations
- Responds to critical incidents
- Acts as a liaison between law enforcement, Asset Protection, Human Resources, and Operations
- Prepares external cases and appears in court on behalf of the organization
- Monitors incident reports and looks for patterns of loss or training opportunities
- Checks for compliance of all physical security devices/procedures
- Support the Sunglass Hut physical inventory process, to ensure accurate physical inventories Projects that prevent or eliminate Fraud against Sunglass Hut

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree or equivalent
- Security/Loss Prevention experience (3-5 years)
- Investigations/ORC experience (1-2 years)
- Ability to provide direction, motivate, and train associates
- Knowledge of Store Retail Operations
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong knowledge of Physical Security Equipment (alarms, CCTV, EAS)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Resourceful and results driven
- Strong computer skills, including ability to navigate social media platforms
- Flexible to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
Pay Range: $54,190- $64,018
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards packageincluding health benefits, PTO, 401K, paid family leave, tuition reimbursement, and eyewear discounts.
