Job Description
WHAT WE NEED:
Sunline Office is looking for a Dealer Development Director who is responsible for growing sales in the United States by identifying, recruiting, and collaborating with independent sales representatives and dealerships. This role will be responsible for researching and identifying potential open markets for Sunline Office brand products and seek out independent reps and dealers to sell the product.
The Dealer Development Director will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales Experience and ultimately be tasked with managing distribution channel change in the US. You will be significantly contributing to the organization's evolution of the dealer network and at the forefront of expanding and elevating it at Sunline Office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· You will act as a liaison between Sunline and the reps and dealerships.
· Spend a lot of time on the road, both visiting existing reps/dealerships as well as exploring new reps/dealerships.
· Independently seek out dealerships to sell Sunline’s complete product line. A considerable time investment networking with dealers via e-mail, phone conversations and regular visits for face-to-face meetings with each dealership's managers and employees.
· Help develop business plans and sales strategies. Set goals for dealerships in such areas as sales and customer experience and measure their progress/performance towards those goals. Conduct meetings about dealer performance as well as advising dealerships on how to achieve their goals.
· Continuous Training to instruct dealership employees at all levels (not just management) on how to sell the product and how best to represent the Sunline's brand.
· Advance the revenue and brand recognition of Sunline.
· Manage dealer changes and evolution.
· Support and collaborate with the Sunline Office team.
· Present internal updates on sales and channel activities.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
· Minimum of five (5) years sales or management experience, within the furniture or related (interiors) industry strongly preferred.
· Deep understanding of the manufacturer and dealer network relationship dynamic.
· Superior time-management
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong emphasis on listening.
· Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and highly motivated self-starter.
· Proficiency to maintain current and accurate order forecasts and other sales reports as required.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
· Ability to create, build and maintain relationships with dealers and independent sales team.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google Sheets, with the ability to learn and utilize Sunline business systems and other technologies, as required.
· Ability to travel, including overnight. Amount of travel may vary and is currently estimated at 60% of overall time.
· This position is located in or within close proximity to Philadelphia, PA.

Salary : $90 - $199
