What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at Sunningdale Country Club?
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to balance the needs of our community with the safety of our members. Successful candidates will enjoy interacting with our members, be able to work as part of a team and be willing to respond to emergency situations. Lifeguards should have strong swimming and life saving skills, demonstrate strong communication skills and be comfortable working in the summer heat.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergencies and render aid in a timely manner.
- Maintain order with the help of the instructors and other guards.
- Supervise groups of children and adults in outdoor swimming pools and supervise smaller groups of individuals or teach synchronized swimming classes.
- Perform rescue duties when needed.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and well-maintained pool facility by following all required safety rules and procedures.
- Perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) on a person when needed.
- Perform first aid on a person when needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
