What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Sales Manager position at Sunright?
Sunright is a fast growing company that develops, manufactures, and markets Bighorn UTVs and golf cars. With 200 retail partners in the United States, our revenue has grown 8x over the past 4 years and are projected to grow another 50% in 2023.
We are looking for an experienced District Manager to find, onboard, and grow new Bighorn dealers in the Southeast region (GA, TN, NC, SC, and AL). You are responsible for achieving retail / wholesale targets for new units. The DM must be able to work independently, formulate and implement sales and dealer development strategies, and develop sales forecasts while maintaining budget and expenses.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Contact dealer prospects and educate them on how Bighorn can be a valuable addition to their business
- Assist existing Bighorn dealers to meet market demand and improve their overall business
- Develop rapport with dealership staff. Develop strategies to improve dealer performance (sales, shop share in multi-line accounts, customer satisfaction – sales, service, and parts)
- Educate dealers on the utilization of sales programs to maximize unit sales
- Promote Bighorn products at consumer events
- Monitor dealer's facility, capital, and management to assure compliance with company standards and agreements
- Manage documentation for the set-up, relocation, cancellation, and buyout of dealerships within the district
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience in field operations, or in a retail sales setting required
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
- Team player with excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to think and work independently
- Proficient computer skills (Excel; Word)
- Extensive travel is required

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
