Job Summary:
Data Coordinator will perform accurate entry, collection and coordination of Joslin QI and grant data for internal quality monitoring as well as submission to approved contract sites. This data consists of clinical, Endocrine-specific information that impacts both patient and program level outcomes. A primary function of the role of data coordinator is collaboration with the quality assurance coordinator for the interaction with regulatory agencies, CMS, and to maintain program compliance. A vital part of the Endocrine team, additional duties include: compiling large data reports, creating a framework for quality assurance/compliance with data integrity standards, assisting with work flow analysis and improvement through automation and programming, and providing technical help and assistance to Endocrine physicians interested in conducting research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 1 year relevant experience OR Associates Degree and 3 years relevant experience required. Strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent written/oral communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required. Familiarity with statistics is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in science/mathematics/business or health related field is preferred.
Work Days:
Varying hours M-F, 7am-5:30pm
