Job Mission:

Store Managers are in charge of driving financial results through exceptional store standards, execution of company strategies, and positive customer interaction. The SM effectively manages all aspects of the store, including customer engagement, people management, operations execution, and merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate an environment of genuine consumer connection by being highly focused on delivering exceptional consumer experiences that are engaging, efficient, and personalized.
  • Build customer loyalty through execution and coaching the team on program benefits.
  • Be a leader of Associate Engagement by fostering a positive, collaborative team environment where team members can bring their best work daily.
  • Develop, train, coach, and provide feedback to all leaders and team members utilizing appropriate performance and talent management tools, ensuring positive growth throughout their journey.
  • Analyze, develop, and execute revenue-building strategies to achieve and exceed store sales goals and consumer expectations.
  • Collaborate with key internal partners to lead timely and effective execution of store controls and operating standards (including policy and procedure administration) while assuming responsibility for the store's profitability and team's safety.
  • Protect company assets through a consistent level of customer service, education, and operational controls.
  • Develop and implement proactive recruitment strategies to ensure proper year-round staffing levels.

Physical:

  • Mobility to maneuver the sales floor and stock room by bending or reaching above to obtain a product for customers from store fixtures/shelves at various heights, climb ladders/step-stools to perform visual merchandising and housekeeping duties.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to five pounds and, at times, lift and carry product/cartons up to fifty pounds to process product shipment/transfers.

Operations:

  • Manages daily operational tasks, including selling, service expectations, standard operations, payroll, human resources, and loss prevention.
  • Demonstrates strong business sense; strategically forecasts, plans, and budgets to the needs of the business (i.e., payrolls, staffing, etc.)
  • Creates schedules to maximize business by scheduling the appropriate amount of staff.
  • Interacts and communicates with supervisor(s) regularly to keep them informed.
  • Maintains interior and exterior upkeep of the building.
  • Understands and uses all retail systems and reporting tools.
  • Adheres to all retail policies and procedures, including POS and Operations procedures.
