RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients and patient care areas.
- Identifies, prepares, packages, labels and delivers medications, including sterile products, under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Will act as a runner while construction is taking place in new wing of hospital.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- General Experience in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent combination of education and experience - Preferred
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Technician
- BLS
