Human Resource Generalist

Superior Auto, Inc. is a growing regional automotive group that is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join our team. This is a Full-Time position at our corporate office, with exceptional benefits, a strong management team that will build your administrative and HR skills. As an HR Generalist, you provide superior service to staff members and the HR team. This includes giving personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management to ensure efficient operations of the Company.

HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
  • Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
  • Administers and tracks all FMLA documents.
  • Experience using HRIS system UltiPro.
  • Reconcile monthly invoices for all benefit plans.
  • Other duties as assigned by a leader.

  • Communicates effectively by providing precise and timely communication and demonstrating practical listening skills.

  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effective use of time.
  • Demonstrates record of achieving performance goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrates ability to make prudent decisions that are timely, well researched, and reflect awareness of impact.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills including a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service, the ability to react appropriately under pressure, and the ability to apply good judgment in ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrates adaptability by adjusting to changing business priorities.
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively work in collaboration with team to achieve objectives.


WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:

  • 2-5 years’ recent experience administering benefit programs; college coursework or degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficient to speak, read and write English
