Job Description
A Part Salesperson is responsible for completing the following duties
- Receive incoming parts calls, respond to customer chats and email requests
- Create quotes and send them back to the customer within 4 hours or sooner
- Enter and process orders from customers as submitted
- Keep clear communication between us and the customer on status updates with quotes and orders
- Help facilitate solutions if a part is unavailable but the customer requires the part right away
- Plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with computers and operating systems
- Ability and desire to achieve product knowledge for all product lines
- Oversee parts order ship-outs
- Notify customers if parts orders are delayed or backordered
- Work with all departments to satisfy customer part requests
- Assist with parts supply chain, availability, pricing, and vendor review
- Raise awareness on parts most commonly used are not in stock or difficult to get
- Keep systems updated such as pricing, weights, and costs in our ERP system
- Keep customer pricing discounts updated by product line
- Other duties as assigned
