What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Validation Specialist position at Supply Chain?

This role is a member of the Life Science Validation Team as a Quality Assurance/Operations support role. The position will lead validation related processes for new and existing facilities, system implementations and packaging equipment. The role will also support start up projects as a validation workstream leader.  Provide validation support for DHL non-life science sectors, as needed.  Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Author and execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for facilities and equipment (packaging)
  • Author, coordinate and manage system validation deliverables for new system implementations
  • Use team project management tools to manage due dates and provide team/manager communications
  • Lead Validation Workstream for start-up projects
  • Coordinate with multiple cross functional teams to execute tasks
  • Coordinate with vendors to implement systems/equipment
  • Participate/lead vendor audits, as needed
  • Participate in QA led presentations, groups, trainings, as needed
  • Provide training to site QA and other cross functional teams on validation related topics
  • Track time on tasks for project work, submit to manager on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
  • Act as validation SME for DHL Life Science Sector
