Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine the needs and goals of individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically children with autism.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on individual needs and goals.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients using evidence-based practices.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers on implementing behavior strategies at home.
Skills:
- Board certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Strong data collection and analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individuals needs.
