The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Hours: 8-5pm Mon-Friday
Linden, NJ
Responsibilities
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Manages workforce needs in partnership with internal talent acquisition team and agencies for hourly non-exempt associates.
- Provides key leadership in development of culture that builds a regional employer of choice
- reputation. Is a champion for company culture and employee engagement.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Partners closely with line management, providing HR guidance and coaching on people matters
- Acts as a primary point of contact for employees spending time both on and off production areas to be accessible and approachable to employees.
- Builds a strong business relationship with the site team; works closely with management and
employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of employment laws (local, state, federal) and other compliance issues.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and HR system applications, Ceridian a plus.
- Strong skills in full cycle recruiting.
- Strong time management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to listen and probe to understand underlying needs and/or root cause of an issue.
- Ability to provide thoughtful and progressive guidance.

- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
