What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at Surge Adventure Park?
At Surge Adventure Parks we offer a diverse range of attractions for the entire family to enjoy. As General Manager you will have to be flexible and must adapt to all areas of the business. Your job will include but not be limited to the following 11 areas.
- The Guest is the first priority! Implementation of the of the 5 characteristics and fulfilling the Mission Statement will be necessary.
- Confidence in all expenses particularly payroll will be a key factor in determining your success with this position.
- Completing all Daily and weekly duties promptly. Including but not limited to park inspections, cleaning, ordering all supplies, bank deposits. All aspects of payroll including all new hire forms, terminations, payroll timecard exceptions and spreadsheets.
- Holding all employees to the Surge Standard’s outlined in the job descriptions.
- The General Manager is ultimately responsible for all staff training but will be expected to have the team leads help with this.
- Ensure all Corporate Events, large groups, fieldtrips, and Birthday parties receive the expected level of service.
- You will be expected to be the “Face of the Place” and create relationship with the guest that enter to create a culture of Friends, Family and Fun!
- Report all injuries promptly to Corporate, preserve video clips and all supporting documentation.
- Have knowledge of all Operators Manuals for trampoline and climbing areas.
- You will be expected to work a 45-hour work week minimum. Work hours are flexible, but we do request a minimum of 8-hour shifts. You will be allowed to have one Friday, one Saturday and every other Sunday off, if the schedule allows each Month. We only ask that all 3 are not taken on the same weekend, without prior approval.
- Honest communication with District Manager and Corporate office is crucial to your success as General Manager.
