Our client is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building strong client relationships, with a focus on acquiring contracts for purchasing product lines and overseeing quality inspection for rework projects. This position requires extensive travel, up to 100 miles per day, and offers significant earning potential through a competitive salary and commission structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on purchasing product lines and rework contracts
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure contract specifications are met for rework projects
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their business needs
- Travel within a 100-mile radius daily to meet clients, attend meetings, and inspect rework sites
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and suppliers
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and market trends
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets consistently
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within a manufacturing or rework environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; must be professional in appearance and speech
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build and maintain relationships

Compensation:
- Base salary: $35,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience
