With Surreal, we will aim to strengthen the relationship between humans and nature throughout the setting.
The restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor seating year-round and will present Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus that combine unique, yet comforting flavors.
We are currently hiring for all front of the house managers (General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Dining Room Managers)!
As a member of the management team, the position is a highly visible role with the leadership committee and the face of our vision and experiences.
Duties include:
- Responsible for short and long-term planning and the management of the Surreal restaurant operations in the front of house
- Implement and maintain F&B sales/marketing programs
- Direct and oversee development of colleagues
- Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance, and salary reviews
- Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for Surreal operations
- Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
- Implement procedures to increase guest and colleague satisfaction
- Exercise quality control for both food and beverage at Surreal
- Maintaining standards of service and ensure their implementation
- Performing daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations
- Maintain communications with Director of Operations
- Coach and counsel colleagues to reflect Imperfecto service standards and procedures

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- High-end food and beverage outlets experience required
- Upscale, dining preferred but not mandatory
- With opening restaurant pre-opening experience preferred
- With building teams from hourly positions through supervisor positions
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Must have a commitment to quality and safety controls and assurances
- Experience implementing new F&B concepts
- Experience programming, coordinating and executing events
