What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissary Delivery Driver position at SusieCakes?
SusieCakes is currently seeking to hire a FT Driver for their commissary operations location in downtown San Francisco. If you are interested in working 35-40 hours a week supporting with delivering large and heavy amounts of baked goods, then please apply to our link with the application.
Pay: $22-24/HR tips (est. $2-$3 an hour)
Shifts: Shift days will range from Sunday-Saturday weekly, starting at 3 AM (Must be 21 years of age or older.)
Hours: 35-40 per week

The delivery driver is responsible for the transport of our baked goods and other food/supply items. They will be driving between multiple SusieCakes bakeries, our commissary kitchen, and any guest locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operations Management: Manage the delivery calendar activities daily, daily bakery requisitions checklist and adhering to the culinary schedule
- Ensure all food is handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards
- Assist with kitchen food prep & production of baked goods as needed
- Ensure delivery cruiser maintenance & service matters are managed
- Manage expenses for delivery cruiser (i.e., gasoline, tolls, repairs)
- Ensure the delivery cruiser is driven in a professional manner consistent with local vehicle laws
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid drivers license required
- Excellent driving record required
- Knowledgeable of GPS navigation systems
- Outstanding customer service focus and skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
- Able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
OTHER:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $22 and $24/HR. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
