We are seeking a talented and high-energy Outside Sales Representative to join our team and play a key role in growing business while helping our customers achieve their goals in South Dakota, Northeast Nebraska and parts of Western Iowa areas.This is a great opportunity for someone with a sales background or someone looking to gain sales experience with a great organization. Principal Responsibilities Include:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Prospect and contact potential customers.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships by helping find answers to their current needs and identifying future opportunities.
  • Sell company products and services to existing customer accounts by obtaining orders and providing customers with knowledge and training on using our products.
  • Articulate company and product value propositions to customers and leads.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual sales territory analyses.

  • You must be comfortable calling on qualified prospects and closing sales with the ability to work independently.
  • Drive to develop an assigned customer base and grow revenue.
  • A mechanical, technical mind is a positive however we will provide training to develop and maintain technical knowledge around our products and customer applications.
  • The ability and work ethic to understand and apply the full breadth of Swagelok fluid system products, services, and custom solutions to our customer base.
  • Ability to deliver value and service beyond our customer’s expectations.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year College or University.
  • 2 to 4 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Clean driving record.
