HR Generalist

Our successful financial advisor firm Swan Capital , in Pensacola, FL is currently searching for a HR Generalist. An experienced HR Generalist will oversee various aspects of human resources, supporting both employees and management.

You will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with the leadership team to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Degree in Human Resources, or 5 years relevant work experience
  • years of experience in HR roles
  • communication and interpersonal skills
  • in HRIS and MS Office applications
  • certification (e.gg. SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
  • knowledge of MS Office and other CRM Software preferred
  • working in a fast-paced environment

This position requires that you possess the following skills :

  • organizational skills
  • communication at a high level
  • to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • to detail and accuracy
  • follow-through

Duties and Responsibilities :

Recruitment and Onboarding :

  • the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • a new hire orientation and ensure a seamless onboarding process for new employees

Employee Relations :

  • as point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing timely and effective resolutions
  • investigations into employee complaints and conflicts and recommend appropriate actions in compliance with company policies and legal regulations

Performance Management :

  • performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans
  • managers in addressing performance issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary

HR Administration :

  • accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations
  • employee changes such as promotions, transfers, and termination in a timely manner
  • HR-related reports and data analysis as needed

Benefits and Compensation :

  • with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management
  • compensation planning and analysis, including salary benchmarking and job evaluations

Training and Development :

  • employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge within the organization
  • with the department heads to identify training needs and facilitate the implementation of training programs

The position and duties are subject to change based on firm needs, and your professional development

Salary :

$55,000 - $65,000 / year

Benefits :

  • 401(k) match vested at 90 days
  • days PTO from start
  • paid holidays per year

Hours :

Monday Friday, 8am 4pm
