Description
Providence employees who work throughout the Providence Health & Services in revenue cycle systems and structures support our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to California.
The Business Office Specialist is responsible for a variety of specialized duties that support the Revenue Integrity Manager.
The duties would include but are not limited to, revenue charge capture / reconciliation, data collection, staff effectiveness and efficiency tracking.
The Business Office Specialist will also assist in investigating business process variances, implementation of process changes and unit standardization.
All duties are performed in a manner that promotes team concepts and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and core values.
The Business Office Specialist will report to the Revenue Integrity Manager.

Required Qualifications :
3 years Medical Billing / Health Information Management / Medical Record background / experience or equivalent experience working in healthcare setting or clerical / office setting.
A work pattern that shows an increasing responsibility and leadership.
Proven history of proactively identifying, resolving and escalating issues that impact business and documentation outcomes.
A track record in organizing and planning with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
EPIC experience.
A track record showing good decision making skills based upon a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment.
