Sweeping Corp of America is seeking a motivated and reliable mechanically Shop Helper to join our team. As a Shop Helper, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in our shop to ensure smooth operations and a clean working environment. Job Responsibilities:
Process and track parts that have been placed on order.
Prioritize multiple parts pick‐up and deliveries.
Ability to respond to emergency pick‐up and delivery.
Pays attention to details and observe safety precautions.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Basic computer skills for placing orders.
Able to identify correct parts, based on part number and shelf location.
Assist with inventory control.
Help technicians as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Prior delivery/driving experience
Mechanical aptitude and industry experience preferred
Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping.
No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.
Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
May be exposed to solvents, chemicals, and refuse.
May be exposed to other risks associated with working around machines, tools, and trucks-CDL related
