Seeking a head chef for Sweet Maple Brunch Restaurant in Santa Monica.
We are a fast growing California based private company which own and operate restaurants of various cuisines including Brunch, Thai, Korean, and Fine Desserts.
Sweet Maple, considered by most to be the best brunch restaurant in San Francisco, first opened its doors to public in 2010. Currently there are four Sweet Maple restaurants in California, soon to be five.

Position: Head Chef
Experience as a sous chef or higher in American or similar cuisines
- 10 years of cooking experience
- Kitchen Operation and training
- Procurement and Inventory control
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and manage the culinary team.
- Food and supply ordering, manage costs and inventory
- Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Awareness of culinary trends.
- Understanding of health and sanitation laws.
- Excellent knife-handling skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Previous kitchen management experience.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role or position.
- 10 years’ experience in high-volume kitchens.
- Experience as a sous chef or higher in American or similar restaurants
Work Schedule:
- Six days a week, includes weekends and holidays. 7AM to 3PM

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
