What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Technician-85249 position at Sweetwater Care LLC?
Sweetwater Care LLC is currently seeking dependable, motivated Direct Care Technicians to provide Habilitation, ATC and Respite services. Teaching various skills to and/or care for clients with special needs 1:1 of all ages! We provide services to our clients in their home as well as in the community. Providers will work on individual goals that include but not limited to:
- -Adaptive skills
- -Socialization
- -Self help
- -Personal care/needs
- -Physical care/needs
- -Daily living skills
- -Community based skills
This position is ideal for somebody who is looking to make a difference in not only our client's life but the families as well. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others and has an energetic, but patient personality! Our Direct Care Provider-Level 2 position requires minimum of 12-24 months of ongoing experience in both HCBS (Home Community Based Services) and Behaviors (Prevention & Support, ABA, Behavior Tech..etc)
Required Qualifications:
- -Article 9 Certification
- -CPR and FIRST AID
- -LEVEL 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- -Central Registry Background Check
- -18 years old
- -Reliable transportation and clean 36month DMV record
- -VALID AZ Drivers License
- Prevention & Support
-Previous experience with either children/adults with or without disabilities OR currently enrolled in courses
(EX: paraprofessional, daycare provider, caretaker, medical field, personal family members with developmental and/or physical disabilities)
