Responsibilities
- Support Corporate Attorney with transactional documents, deadlines, correspondence, and research.
- Complete new corporate entity filings, research requirements, ensure documents are deposited in repository and properly indexed and cataloged.
- Track organizational renewal, compliance, and end dates; file necessary renewals for licenses, permits, entity renewals, and other renewals.
- Maintain and update matter files and matter tracking system, including correspondence, revisioning and approval of correspondence.
- Research legal, litigation, employment, and other issues and prepare analysis for presentation to Corporate Attorney.
- Monitor sensitive and escalated general liability, employment, and other cases for timely responses and deadlines.
- Manage vendor, supplier, and outside counsel performance in relation to organizational, acquisition, and transactional agreements.
- Familiarity with contractual documents and evaluation of company’s contractual/risk exposure, satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies is strong plus.
- Conduct legal research as needed, at the direction of the corporate attorney.
- Provide exceptional support for Legal and Executive teams regarding organizational structure and transactional work.
- Demonstrating a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with major course work in Business Administration, Law, Paralegal Studies, or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible professional level experience.
- Ability to multitask and efficiently and effectively prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines.
- Extreme attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Expertise in organization and time management
- Provide hospitality-obsessed level of service to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships.
- Ability to maintain absolute integrity and confidentiality around highly sensitive information.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
