Swiderski Equipment, one of Wisconsin’s premier and long-established agriculture and construction equipment dealerships, is seeking a full-time Service Manager. We are interested in enthusiastic, self-driven individuals to join our team. The service manager organizes, communicates and delegates responsibilities and priorities specific to the service department to ensure the needs of customers are met while simultaneously achieving company goals and objectives. The Service Manager must maintain a positive attitude and continually looks to improve the productivity and profitability of the service department.
What You’ll Do
- Manage service technicians, assistant service manager, warranty staff, yard workers and seasonal staff by scheduling work efficiently and productively
- Provide outstanding customer service to customers with detailed estimates for work required as well as provide information on recommended maintenance work and service agreement options
- Quickly resolve conflicts internally and externally, maintaining positive professional relationships and a positive, productive work environment
- Determine shop needs relating to special tooling, equipment, vehicles, and work hours, etc. and ensure tools, equipment and vehicles are properly inventoried and maintained
- Develop and maintain a successful relationship with manufacturer service reps
- Work collaboratively with service departments at other SEI stores, as well as with other departments to create a more positive and engaging customer experience

*Prior experience working in a service department and/or in the Ag equipment field is highly desired. Management experience is a plus. Ag background is also a plus, though not required. Salary commensurate with experience.
