EHS Coordinator

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Environmental Manager to join our team. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and environmentally-friendly work environment. You will have senior responsibility for directing the safety and environmental functions. Working closely with HR, Plant Manager, employees and other members of the management team to assure full safety engagement. Leading safety topics, safety training, and identifying areas of safety changes opportunities. Will work closely with Engineering team on the environmental side to assure company is fully in compliance and staying up to date on any Osha changes.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental programs, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and workers compensation laws
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential environmental hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and deliver training programs on environmental awareness, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents or accidents to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor waste management processes to minimize environmental impact
- Stay up-to-date with changes in environmental regulations and industry best practices
- Prepare reports on environmental performance and submit required documentation to regulatory agencies

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements
- Proficiency in first aid techniques and CPR certification
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis for incidents or accidents
- Familiarity with EPA regulations and reporting requirements
- Knowledge of workers compensation laws related to environmental hazards
- Excellent report writing skills to document findings, recommendations, and compliance status
- Strong understanding of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) principles

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

• EHS: 5 years (Required)
