Boka Restaurant Group and Executive Chef Chris Pandel are looking for an Events Sales Coordinator to join the team of Swift & Sons Steakhouse, located in Chicago’s famed Fulton Market District!
***Compensation is projected to be between 55 & 65k (40k base commission)***

Events Sales Coordinator's Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Senior Event Sales Manager to proactively drive business growth to meet revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their event needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Manage all phases for assigned events, including:
- Respond to sales leads in a timely manner
- Create contracts, Banquet Event Orders, menus, floorplans, and timelines
- Coordinate event details and delivery with client, FOH, and BOH
- Oversee event execution
- Review and submit event financials for final payment
- Assist Senior Event Sales Manager with large projects and administrative tasks
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and generate sales leads
- Audit Open Table & Tripleseat (we will train how to use both programs)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning and sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Experience in an office setting
- Experience in hospitality preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Flexible schedule

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 10- 20lbs if necessary.
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment.
- Stand and walk for the entirety of an eight-hour shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant.
