Wholesale company located in Netcong NJ is looking for a sales manager. The Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth for the company by further developing & creating new relationships with mass retailers, other wholesalers, e-commerce companies, etc.
The Sales Manager is also responsible for providing leadership and support to the sales team. This will include managing account assignments, calculating commissions, approving item cost and assisting/training each sales representative with any other account related matters.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing sales and manage growth by establishing new relationships and identifying opportunities to cultivate existing client relationships.
- Develop, motivate and maintain the sales team and provide leadership by managing day-to-day performance and ensuring complete buy-in of company strategies and culture.
- Report sales at weekly sales meetings and implement accountability plans and programs to support team members and ensure sales and revenue goals are exceeded.
- Coordinate with HR to hire sales representatives who take ownership and exhibit urgency, are team players working to maximize sales opportunities and provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Provide support for sales team members on selling skills, account management and development techniques.
- Ensure sales goals and objectives are aligned with strategic priorities.
- Perform other functional area duties, as required, to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- 5 year's experience in sales management (sales training, direct sales, wholesale sales).
- Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, administrative and decision-making skills.
- Must possess strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to be a contributing member of multiple teams, taking direction, giving feedback and delegating to/from multiple sources.
- Demonstrate shared leadership and multi-team accountability.
- Experience working collaboratively across sales, operations, human resources and other functions.
- Comprehension and ability to communicate mathematical data relative to sales performance, churn stats and net gains.
- Self-motivated, positive, energetic and enthusiastic.
- Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication techniques.
- Must possess exceptional computer aptitude, preferably with MS Office.
- Must possess the ability to adapt to and champion change in a positive manner.
- Closeout industry experience preferred.

Base Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year DOE.
