We are currently looking to hire an ambitious outside sales representative to drive sales. The merchant account specialist’s responsibilities include selling and canvassing for new business. You should also be able to produce and present convincing sales proposals to customers to close sales.
To be successful as an outside sales representative, you should be persuasive and self-motivated. An extraordinary outside sales representative should have excellent communication and sales skills.
There is 2 weeks of paid training. This position has a base salary of $60k annually, plus residual commissions and monthly bonuses. Your residual commissions and bonuses will surpass your base salary in 8 to 9 months.
Merchant Account Specialist’s Responsibilities:
- Building and sustaining ongoing relationships with new and existing customers.
- Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct direct meetings with existing and potential customers.
- Repeatedly meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive business.
- Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
- Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
Outside Sales Representative Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proven outside sales experience.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
- Solid consultative sales skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- A proven track record of successful Business-to-Business B2B sales experience.
- Canvassing experience.
