What does an IT Systems Support Specialist do at Swire Coca-Cola?
As the System Support Specialist you provide daily support and management of computing systems and technology infrastructure (i.e. desktop, laptop, mobile, printers, network, etc.). A successful Field IT Technician will thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoy providing world class customer support. This is well-suited for someone who enjoys fielding daily inquires relating to hardware, software, network, and telephony issues, and able to resolve technical issues without assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide “End User” customer support to assist with all aspects of their devices, including set-up, installation, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance and upgrades
Troubleshooting and maintenance on computers, monitors, peripherals, and wireless communication devices.
Deploy new equipment and operating software
Technical support/Troubleshooting of Windows workstations, Office 365, Active Directory, Voice over IP (VoIP), and basic network connectivity
Maintain accurate inventory of all IT devices
Order and distribute equipment
Maintains documentation on process, procedure, service tickets and infrastructure
Prioritize work requests and escalations in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met
Participates effectively as a team member using communication, cooperation, information sharing and problem solving
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or minimum 2 years of relevant technical desk work experience.
Relevant technical certifications or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Time management and multi-tasking ability
Interpersonal, facilitation, consensus building and conflict resolution skills
Strong analytical skills
Superior customer service and customer satisfaction skills
Requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., reaching, and bending.
Occasional travel to various work locations, usually within the state or surrounding states, as business needs require.
*This is a salaried position with normal working hours of 8am-5pm. However, this position may require work outside of these hours as business needs require.
