What You'll DoSymbotic has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated System Test Engineer In This Role
- Participate in development of functional test plans with customer.
- Write End to End Test plan for cell/functionality
- Participate in customer facing meetings during and in preparation for on-site testing.
- Provide internal/external communications on test results, reports, and issue tracking to keep management and engineering teams informed.
- Drive daily testing activities during on-site test phases.
- Participate in the defect management process of hardware and Software issues.
- Create, prioritize and track to closure.
- Provide day-to-day reporting of testing/defect progress.
- Continuous improvement on overall system integration test strategies and test plans.
- Establish a culture and practice high quality testing methodology.
What You'll Need
- Write complete SQL queries from scratch to meet data needs.
- Advanced troubleshooting (reading of CAD drawings/maintenance manuals/user manuals/etc.)
- Public speaking skills to hold both customer facing and internal meetings on areas ranging from System Testing Progress to Deep Dives and Root Cause Analysis.
- Understand data flow for Auto Inbound and Outbound cells; additional site specific adapter cell specialties are included on a project specific basis.
- Scripting capabilities in Linux/Windows PowerShell.
- Assist project teams determining whether a given component or feature is ready for release/production.
- Written communication proficiency to update tickets via Jira, stakeholders via email threads, or commentary on Confluence.
