What You’ll Accomplish as an AVP, Product Owner
The Product Owner will be responsible for working with business and development teams utilizing the Agile / SAFe methodology. The Product Owner will work cross functionally to develop operational strategies for internal and external use plans. The Product Owner would be responsible for identifying epics, sprint planning, developing, and prioritizing user stories and maintaining the backlog and coordination. The PO obtains and schedules resources for timely completion of the project, provides oversight of communications, acts as the primary point of contact throughout the lifespan of the project and will organize and schedule team meetings, training, and other events. The PO is also responsible for verifying and delivering the project’s documented business backlog. The ideal candidate will have a solid project management, operational background, self-reliant with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and exceeding adoption targets.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. What You’ll Do:
Responsible for developing and delivering launch plans and related growth initiatives, while ensuring a superior customer experience from identifying epics, sprint planning, developing, and prioritizing user stories and maintaining the backlog through release testing and validation.
Partner cross functionally (e.g. IT, Marketing, Fraud, Risk, Ops, Collections) to identify the business to prioritize future features (the backlog) and deliver to market within designated sprints and support new client integration initiatives.
Maintain and ensure PCI compliance as well as other regulatory compliance as it relates to project implementation and ongoing surveillance
Oversight and leadership of the wing-to-wing Agile development cycle including build, test, launch and adoption.
Accountable for cross function integration and approval including Compliance, Legal, Brand (Marketing) Reporting, Planning, Forecasting, Training, and Communication.
Lead cross functional projects through Agile aimed at reducing expense, or improving the consumer experience
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
May be asked to serve as Product Owner for other applications as needed
Experiences You’ll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's and 5 years in Financial Services Industry; in lieu of degree requirement, the candidate must have 7 years of experience in Financial Services
3 years’ experience in Collections or Operations
3 years' leading projects with virtual teams

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
