Duties
- Fabricates prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing
- Documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions and recommendations
- Analyzes problems and recommends solutions; expedites prototype parts or assemblies
- Performs a variety of non-routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
- Develops, prepares and makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications
- Associates Degree in Technical Field or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- 5 years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related products
- Mechanical aptitude and experience
- Experience with metal fabrication (plasma cutting, form, machine, and weld)
- Small engine maintenance
- Ability to set-up, calibrate and use specialized measurement devices and test equipment
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret data and create technical documents
- Fluent in primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location and able to read English
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
