Responsibilities

This opportunity is seeking an experienced First Line Leader in Pharmaceutical Sales for the position of District Sales Manager. The ability to act as an agent of change and see the bigger picture of a portfolio-wide strategy will be essential to delivering success in this role. It is expected that the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented objectives in accordance with national and regional goals.

  • Compliantly driving sales objectives to meet & exceed corporate forecast
  • Develop deep product & competitor knowledge, as well as an understanding of local & regional market trends
  • Effectively identify and monitor multiple local market conditions to build and support strong customer relationships while driving product promotion solutions and executing marketing strategies.
  • Monitor field activities to ensure all are within compliance guidelines and provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions while collaborating closely with leadership, commercial operations, marketing and other business units

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelors Degree - Advanced Degree Preferred
  • 5 Years of Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry experience
  • 2 Years of district / regional field management experience
  • Experience in the Women’s Health OR Anti-Infectives marketplace is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, especially in project planning, project implementation, and cross-functional team management
  • Ability to hire, lead, coach & mentor high performing teams
  • Ability to meet travel demands – 70% time in the field, other travel may be required
