Hiring Opportunity : Piqua, OHOur client is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to support their Piqua Ohio locations! Our client is a leading manufacturer of filler metals assisting a variety of different industries to include construction, manufacturing, transportation, and oil & gas.

The 2nd shift Maintenance Technician will work closely with the maintenance lead technician and operators on a daily basis in order to perform troubleshooting for machinery repairs and preventative maintenance.

Successful candidates MUST have a minimum 2 year degree in electronics or mechanical education.Responsibilities : - Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

Perform precision machine repairs.- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of machines.- Use Computerized Maintenance Management System.

  • Understanding of mechanical drive systems and bearing maintenance / replacement.- Ability to use test & measurement equipment such as multimeters, calipers, micrometers.
  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs and Electrical Control systems.- A team player who possesses an excellent attitude.- Willing to pursue further education - particularly regarding electrical control systems.
