Summary:A distributor of military/defense and aerospace parts is looking to hire a QA Inspector in Boca Raton, FL. This position is responsible for inspecting aerospace and mechanical parts in an AS9100 warehouse environment with CMMs, micrometers, calipers, etc. The ideal candidate must have knowledge with CMMs in addition to inspecting instruments (which includes calipers, micrometers, linear scales, pins, thread, custom gages, comparators, profiles, and microscopes). Ability to read mechanical blueprints is also required.
Requirements:* 5 years of experience operating CMMs OR 10 years of experience with micrometers and calipers in a mechanical manufacturing environment (electrical or pharmaceutical inspection is not desired)* Experienced working with quality audits such as ISO9001 or AS9100 highly preferred* Must have an ability to read blueprints, technical documents, and manuals, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards. Ability to interpret and work using MIL-standards and Industry Standards
